STOURPORT Swifts are still searching for stability in their struggling Southern Football League division one west squad with teenage talisman Chris Hughes the latest player to depart Walshes Meadow.
Despite the scoreline, Hughes shone in Stourport's 4-0 defeat at his old club Sutton Coldfield Town, prompting the player's former club to put in a seven-day approach.
Birmingham-based Hughes has been a silver lining in a cloudy couple of weeks for Swifts with some impressive performance on the right flank.
But the 18-year-old Birmingham County FA, captain is unemployed and unable to drive so Sutton Coldfield, where he skippered Rencher's successful youth team, is more conveniently located.
"We just can't seem to get any continuity at the moment," said Rencher. "The fact that people want our players even though we're struggling is a back-handed compliment but it's not doing us any favours.
"I just need to settle things down."
Adam Robinson has given the boss a boost ahead of the weekend home clash with Solihull Borough by rejecting an approach from Chasetown, while Swifts have signed left back James Holmes from Nuneaton Borough. Influential defender Paul Hatton returns from suspension for Saturday's game.
There was to be no happy return to Sutton Coldfield for Rencher last weekend, however with the home winning convincingly.
Two goals apiece from strike partners Damian Markman and Justin Rowe did the damage.
Rowe headed in the opener on 16 minutes with his fellow forward doubling the lead before half-time following a neat exchange of passes with Rowe.
Swifts had chances to score, the pick of them falling to Shaun Findlay who pushed his effort just wide.
Erik Pudaloff pulled off a brave save to deny Nathan Moran while Sam Wilson hit an effort into the Stourport side-netting.
The second period saw the home side finally take charge of the game and two goals in the final 15 minutes put paid to any hopes Swifts had of claiming anything from the contest and easing their relegation worries.
Markman netted his second on 75 minutes with Rowe rounding off the proceedings a minute from time with a fierce 25-yard drive.

l Swifts' 100 club winning number: 14.
