WORCESTER Men's Firsts piled the pressure on but lost 3-2 at Melton Mowbray in Coaching Solutions Midlands One.
The city side went down 1-0 after five minutes but scored a deserved equaliser through man-of-the-match Steve Poole.
Worcester dominated the rest of the game with three yellow cards given to Melton, mostly for dissent.

It cost them two goals with fatigue playing a part and Chris Adams' consolation in the dying seconds from a short corner was in vain.
Worcester Seconds did well against a Harborne side featuring several first-teamers but lost 1-0.
They passed the ball around impressively and were unlucky to concede a goal mid-way through the first-half to a great piece of skill.
After Andy Waters' half-time team-talk, Worcester were unlucky to have a controversial goal disallowed.
The Thirds searched for their first win since Christmas but drew 2-2 at Edgbaston.
They went down 1-0 to a well-worked goal but levelled through Mark Chambers from a short corner.

But the visitors took over for much of the second period and scored twice, despite the efforts of the hosts' Jan Mason.
