THE institute celebrated its 88th anniversary in January. Diary dates included the Lucy Hingley Lecture on diabetes on March 17, the spring rally on May 15 and the annual council meeting on May 15. Myra Godwin asked members for competition ideas.
"Dowsing for health" was the subject of Christopher Johnson's talk. With the use of a crystal pendulum, he is able to find the causes of illness and stress, food intolerances and environmental sensitivities.
The next meeting will be held at Mamble Village Hall on February 13 at 7.30pm. Richard Perrin will talk on "canoeing down the River Severn." There will be a trading stall and the competition is for a flower stall.
