REIGNING champions Dumbleton had to wait until the penultimate ball to secure victory over an improved St Benedict's side in last week's indoor action.
Powell and Jones gave the Saints a flying start with a stand of 56 off five overs but Dumbleton hit back to restrict their opponents to 107-2 with Gibson and Hulse finding a good line with the ball.
Seven overs into their reply, the champions, minus skipper and opening bat Boorman, had only scored 52 and still required 20 runs off the last two overs.
However, ten runs were taken off the 19th over and the target was reached off the fifth ball of the final over.
There were no such problems for Evesham Casuals who easily overcame an out of sorts Temple Grafton.
