BROMSGROVE under-7s were pushed all the way but came out on top over three games against Dudley.

The young Boars were beaten 25-10 in the first game, despite two tries for Jonathan Hawkins. Bromsgrove won the second game 25-15, with tries by Ladi Abudu (2), Harry Brown, Ben Evans and Finley Evans.

Charlie Marshall bagged six tries as Bromsgrove edged Dudley 35-30. Kaj Douglas also grabbed a try.

The Boars' under-8s were too strong for Dudley Kingswinsford, winning four games. Bromsgrove won the first game 30-15, with tries for Harry Lloyd-Jones, Matthew Walker (2), Ben Lammas and Josh Nott scoring. Lloyd-Jones (2), Tom Brehaut, Matthew Osborn and Jeremy Turner all scored as Bromsgrove ran out 25-15 winners in the second game. Adam Goldney bagged five tries as Bromsgrove ran out 40-15 winners in game three, while Tom Morris (2) and Henry Moberley also scored.

In the final match Bromsgrove ran out 40-20 winners, with Goldney (3), James Holmes, Howcroft, Moberley, Morris scoring.

Bromsgrove under-11s beat Dudley Kingswinford 40-5 with tries for Callum O'Carroll (2), Jack Priddy (2), Chris Cornellissen (2), Jake Perryman and Monty Cann. In the second game Bromsgrove were 15-5 winners thanks to Jake Perryman's hat trick.

It was honours even between Bromsgrove and Droitwich under-8s last weekend. Over four games both sides won one and drew twice. Peter Bedborough (4), Angus Thomas (4), Jamie Wall (2), Matthew Sowden (2), Jack Weston, Arron Barber, Luke Wall, Lawrence Tonks, Ieuan Howells, Jack Richards, Joshua Bowie and Richard Middleton scored for Spa over four games. James Taylor (5), Adam Goldney (4), Jonathan Howcroft (3), Jeremy Turner (2), Harry Lloyd-Jones (2) and Henry Moberley (1) scored for Bromsgrove.
