FAIRFIELD Villa manager Paul Oakes has warned his side not to take Chaddesley Corbett lightly when the two sides clash in the Worcestershire Junior Cup semi-final on Saturday, January 28 (1.30pm kick off).

Villa go into the match against the West Midlands League side in the best form of the season.

The Bromsgrove team is unbeaten in four matches and top the Midland Combination Division One.

Oakes said: "We are playing really well, but we are only as good as our last performance.

"Not so long ago we lost 6-0 to Littleton. That result is a warning that we can't afford to be sloppy.

"Chaddesley are in a lower division, but they are a good side to get this far and must be respected."

Oakes has almost a full strength squad at his disposal for in-form Villa's clash with their Worcestershire rivals.

Striker Spencer Kenwood misses the match with a calf injury and may be out of action for three weeks.

Villa seem set to be without the services of experienced defender Martin Keight for the rest of the season.

Work commitments mean the former Redditch United and Alvechurch man is unavailable for Saturday matches.

Oakes said: "It's a shame because Martin's very experienced. He might be able to play occasionally."
