Redditch 31 Malvern 2nds 19
REDDITCH warmed up for this weekend's crucial North Midlands One (South) clash at Upton with an excellent five-try victory over Malvern 2nds.
And the try of the game came from Gareth Davies, starting his first full game for the Bromsgrove Road side since the opening match of the season when he picked up a hamstring injury.
Stuart Medway, Tom Saddington, Edwin Grey and Joe Alekna also went over for the home side in a display that delighted coach Jimmy Griffin.
"It was an excellent performance, especially in the first half when we scored four of the tries," he said.
"We have been getting stronger and stronger and we will have a strong squad for our match at Upton this weekend."
