FOR the third time, Redditch Housing Services has been awarded the prestigious Charter Mark accreditation for excellence in service to customers.
After an examination of all the evidence, including an onsite visit, interviews with tenants, and an inspection of the online tool book which showed how housing services had met the criteria, the Charter Mark was granted for achieving six goals.
These included setting standards and performing well, engaging with customers, partners and staff and being fair and accessible to everyone.
Jackie Smith, director of housing and asset management said: "Although we've achieved this award we're aware we cannot afford to be complacent.
"We have produced an action plan which we will be working on over the next 12 months to ensure our service continues to improve, and we provide a consistently high quality service that meets our customers' expectations.
"We'd like to take this opportunity to thank our tenants and partners and staff who contributed to our assessment."
