REDDITCH is being promised a bigger and better community arts festival this year.
Flair (Festival of Live Arts), is planning an exciting programme of events in May - including live music and dance.
The voluntary arts festival group has changed its name from CAF (Community Arts Festival Event) to make it clearer to residents what it is about.
Flair will continue the annual festival showcasing the talents and work of individuals and groups within Redditch's arts community, as it has done for the last six years.
This year's festival is also planned to be bigger than ever and an extra day has been added to the schedule.
Flair committee chairman Timothy Merridew said: "With all the hard work that went into last year's festival and the effort being put behind this year's I think this should be the best ever."
This year's event takes place from Wednesday, May 17 to Saturday, May 20.
Flair would like to hear from anyone who leads an art group or is an artist, singer, dancer, or other performer and is interested in taking part.
People can contact Flair, c/o Timothy Merridew, 7 Rose Avenue, Alvechurch B48 7PG or call 07715 112828 to request an application form.
Names, addresses, and contact telephone numbers should be included.
