A WORCESTER firm has almost completed an innovative building for Wychavon District Council designed to help the elderly and disabled.
It is the first adaptation unit that has been ordered by the council from Adroit Modular Buildings, based in Trow Way, Diglis. It is for a disabled lady in Harvington, near Evesham.
The building will be attached to the existing house and will act as a bedroom and bathroom on the ground floor. This means that the woman can live independently and not rely on someone else to help her go upstairs.
Peter Luff, MP for Mid- Worcestershire, and staff from Wychavon District Council visited the factory to see how the construction was coming along.
