A MUM woke up in the middle of the night to find her car on fire.
Distraught 32-year old Julie Bedwell said it was a "thoughtless act of vandalism".
Police believe the blaze started in another car, which then rolled into her silver Vauxhall Corsa on Lapal Close.
Ms Bedwell, mum of 11-month-old Samantha, woke up at 4.30am on Tuesday to a hissing and popping sound coming from outside.
She said: "I looked out the window and there was my car on fire. I rang the fire brigade straight away."
Ms Bedwell had been parking her car outside her St John's home for the past six months.
She is angry she will now have to find alternative transport and is uncertain what her insurance pay-out will be.
"I used the car every day. I don't know what I'll do now.
"Getting the bus with the pram is a nightmare.
"I thought St John's was a nice quiet area but now I'm not so sure.
"I just can't understand why somebody would do this."
