A LANDLORD in Droitwich is celebrating after real ale enthusiasts named his hostelry pub of the season.
CAMRA (Campaign for Real Ale) will present Tim Radley, of the Hop Pole in Friar Street, with his certificate on Sunday, January 29.
Doug Robinson, membership secretary of CAMRA Redditch and Bromsgrove, said: "We had a large choice of pubs in the area that we visited.
"We found that the Hop Pole stood out."
Licensee Tim Radley said: "It is really great to be chosen by CAMRA.
We have put a lot of work in over the last nine years and this award shows how we have really turned the pub around in that time."
