A VARIED programme of fundraising for the parish hall refurbishment is planned over the coming weeks, including 3hird Wheel Theatre Company's Changed Priorities. A hapless but ambitious town planner arrives in sleepy Noware full of zeal and soon gets his plans under way. A fast-paced anarchic comedy as three actors create a village of characters driven round the bend by road signs, double yellow lines and bureaucracy! Tickets from (01531) 640415 or available on the door. The only performance is on Tuesday, February 7 at 7.30pm.
Country and western music fans will be pleased to hear that on Saturday, February 18 at 8pm, popular local singer Steve Chase will be at the parish hall to lead an evening's entertainment. Tickets, available on the door, cost £4 to include refreshments. Please bring your own drinks. The evening is organised by Anne Quinton and friends and local support would be much appreciated.
Another fundraiser, the Bosbury Heritage Cook Book is the brainchild of Liz McGill and Mary Bennett. They are collecting recipes that reflect the current village community and would appreciate local Herefordshire recipes and other traditional family recipes from your original locality. Additional information about the background of the dish could also be incorporated. Your contributions as soon as possible please to Mary Bennett or Liz McGill on (01531) 640625.
Tomorrow (Saturday), from 10.30am to noon, coffee morning at the parish hall and at 7.30pm, the film Pride and Prejudice.
