Well, I'm back from sunny climes of Australia.
It is always a bit of an anti-climax to come home after a fantastic holiday, although for the first day or so it seemed quite quiet being back. But looking ahead, Worcester is going to be a really exciting place to be.
There is just so much happening with the University now having selected architects to plan the re-development of the Castle Street site, we can expect to see a really exciting project in the heart of the city. In addition, the city has just launched a huge Lottery bid for development of the Worcester Waterfront. If that gets off the ground we will really see some major changes.
Also, the Diglis project is well under way, and the planned Worcester Porcelain changes.
Add to that the annual events such as the Worcester Festival and the Victorian Fayre, and we begin to see what a great place Worcester is likely to become. I believe Worcester is set to become a much more important city and I, for one, can't wait.
