MALVERN Hills District Council was spared a vote of no confidence from Upton town council after a clerical mix-up saw the item omitted from a council meeting agenda.
When the town council met in December, Coun Eric White agreed to defer the no confidence vote proposal until the meeting on Tuesday, January 17.
Coun White is unhappy with MHDC's perceived lack of co-operation in the debate on the future of the public toilets in High Street.
On Tuesday, when he moved to bring forward his proposal at the meeting, he was informed that the item was not on the agenda and therefore no vote could be taken.
