A NEW planning application has been made for a key site in Malvern Link.
How Sell Developments Ltd, from Kidderminster, has applied to continue using land at the junction of Worcester Road and Howsell Road, next to the fire station, for selling cars.
A previous planning permission has now lapsed and the company, which has just taken on the land, wants to regula-rise the situation.
There is already another application for the same site lodged with the district council. Late last year, Churchill Retirement Living, of Hampshire, applied to build 35 retirement flats.
Residents from Santler Court, just across the road, have written to object. They say the building will block their view of the hills. They also fear the impact of extra traffic on an area that already has parking problems.
The principle of development on the site was established last year, when permission was granted for 11 apartments and three houses for Temeside Properties.
