JOHN Trewick is delighted to see Hereford United goal-getter Adam Stansfield in blistering form.
Only marksman Stansfield has netted for the Bulls in 2006 and his single strike contributions proved decisive in successive 1-0 away triumphs at Scarborough and Halifax Town.
The prolific 27-year-old also scored against Forest Green Rovers on January 2 and will endeavour to make it four in a row tomorrow.
Lowly Crawley stand in Stansfield's way and coach Trewick reckons the former Yeovil Town striker is capable of netting in every game.
"Adam is contributing very well at the moment," said Trewick. "He is capable of scoring goals against anyone and, with his energy, he shows how vital he is to us.
"It's great to have Adam back and fully fit. He started the season with injury problems and that manifested itself into a hernia operation.
"So we've missed him for a large part of the season, missed his energy and his goals. He's a very, very valuable squad player."
Nobody would wager against Stansfield stealing the show once more as John Hollins' struggling Red Devils side hit Edgar Street.
But while United supporters count on their leading forward to cause further damage, Trewick insists the Bulls cannot simply rely on Stansfield for goals.
He added: "Defending is a team effort and so is scoring goals. We've got to be looking at everyone to get themselves on the scoresheet. We can get goals from set-pieces, while we have defenders and midfielders that can chip in.
"Obviously, strikers are the main threat. For a reasonably successful season, we look at two strikers who can score 20-odd goals each. We've got to be looking at our strikers contributing 35 to 40 goals over the whole season."
Midfielder Craig Stanley is back from a one-game suspension as the Bulls -- who have lost just two of 19 matches in all competitions -- aim to strengthen their promotion challenge.
Wayne Brown is likely to swipe the goalkeeping gloves away from Craig Mawson, while Tony James and Guy Ipoua are back in contention after returning to training. The Bulls defeated Crawley 2-0 at Broadfield Stadium in their third game of the season with Ipoua and Tamika Mkandawire on target.
Trewick added: "We've watched the video from when we played Crawley. They like to pass the ball and are a good footballing side with a new manager. They will not be a push-over.
"We have got to approach it positively, looking to win. If we play to our potential, we should come away with three points."
