FOLLOWING a sell-out visit in September 2002, the international smash hit musical Blood Brothers is returning to Malvern on Monday.
Hailed as one of the best musicals of all time, Willy Russell's Blood Brothers tells the moving story of twin boys separated at birth, only to be reunited by a twist of fate and a mother's haunting secret. Mrs Johnstone - played by Sharon Byatt, who performed in the West End Production of the musical-- is deserted by her husband and left to provide for seven, hungry children. She is devastated when she discovers she is pregnant yet again - with twins! In a moment of weakness she then enters a secret pact with her employer, which leads inexorably to the show's shattering climax.
The memorable score includes A Bright New Day, Marylin Monroe and the emotionally charged hit Tell Me It's Not True.
Tickets are £17.50 and £28.50 and are already selling fast, Call Malvern Theatres box office on 01684 892277.
