MALVERN U12s Vipers took on this game at short notice, facing their visitors for the first time at this level.

Malvern began well with the forwards making ground at every opportunity. This dominance resulted in two quick scores for Oscar Kavanagh and Sam Parsons.
Malvern began to run through their full range of moves resulting in two more scores before half-time, for Sam Page and one for Joe Purcell. Fly-half Alex Swan was again in fine form converting all four tries.
Half-time: Malvern 24pts, Alcester 0.
Malvern changed their back line completely at hal -time allowing some of their new backs some game time.
Alcester responded well after the break playing some good rugby and making Malvern work hard to stay in front. Malvern scored three tries from Nat Wallis, James Mobbs and Eric Carlen, who converted two of them. Alcester responded with three tries of their own.
Malvern Vipers look forward to Sunday's local derby away at Bromyard.
