Four artists and a storyteller are working with schools to create four parish maps showing the area's wildlife and biodiversity.
Children at Himbleton First School, Hanbury First School, Stoke Prior First School and Feckenham First School are taking part in the project, funded by the Arts Council UK and the county council. Rupert Brakspear, the council's education for sustainable development officer, said: "This project focuses on the stories and experiences of local people.
"By talking to people we can get a real feel about the places they live, work and play in and how they interact with and value their natural environment."
