MP for Worcester Mike Foster has welcomed the progress made on rebuilding Red Hill Primary School in the city. The old Red Hill Primary on Midhurst Close has been demolished and work is under way constructing under-soil heating and foundations on the new one. School pupils are being taught in temporary classrooms on old playing fields while they await the redevelopment. Mr Foster said: "The old Red Hill Primary was in a very poor state of repair - it needed this action, a demolition and rebuild. It is important that our children are taught in the best possible environments and in a year or so we will see this at Red Hill."
