A KIDDERMINSTER man belie-ves his great-great-grandfather made a 19th century clock, which is going on show at Bewdley Museum.
The timepiece, featured in the Shuttle/Times & News, was made by Joseph Young, who had premises in High Street, Load Street and Severnside North between 1828 and 1864.
Brian Young, 83, of Cornwall Avenue, Kidderminster said he believed his great-grandfather, Thomas Young, who made clocks and watches, had a shop in Load Street around 1877.
He added: "I think Joseph Young would have been my great-great-grandfather. I have never heard of any more Youngs in Bewdley."
The timepiece was a feature on the balcony of Bewdley Baptist Church in the High Street until it was taken down during alternations in 1994.
