FOOTBALLERS have hit the target with donations totalling £2,700 to six good causes.
The money was raised through seven knockout competitions organised by Kidderminster Charity Cups Committee.
A total of 166 teams - mainly from the Kidderminster League - took part in the past year and cheques for £450 went to Wyre Forest Diabetes Society, Macmillan Worcestershire Appeal, Kemp Hospice, Wyre Forest Talking Newspaper, Salvation Army and Guide Dogs for the Blind Association.
The presentations to group representatives were made by Kidderminster Harriers chairman, Barry Norgrove, at Habberley Social Club.
