UNITED took almost 30 minutes to break down Charlton's defensive strategy in a game that saw 15 attempts on goal.
During one of the attacks, Sam Ford was released by Louis Brown and his cross was headed in by Henry Woods.
The second half saw some excellent performances, notably from Harrison Cother who created a lot of problems up front, and Andrew Powell, Colin Philpott, James Coldrick and Owen Jones.
However attacks were constantly thwarted or broke down in the area due to a poor final ball.
Then, just when Rovers threatened to score, the ball broke from the resulting corner to Bryn Tomes who picked out Tom Evans in space to fire in Evesham's second.

The visiting goalkeeper excelled in the second half to deny Badsey another goal to settle the nerves. It didn't arrive but they hung on to claim a vital win with Joe Gisbourne also a sturdy figure in the home goal.
