CANCER Research UK's Race for Life, supported by Tesco, will be arriving in Evesham in June.
This year will be the fourth time Evesham will host the event and Cancer Research UK has been delighted by the support and commitment in the past, with Evesham raising £313,538 to help support its life-saving work.
This year, the charity is hoping that 750,000 women will enter and raise £46 million in the event on Sunday, June 25. This money will help support Cancer Research UK's pioneering research.
Rebecca Hillyard, Evesham's race organiser, is calling on everyone to get involved and help Race for Life beat this year's target.
"Last year's event had an unforgettable atmosphere and was incredibly inspiring. We were delighted by the Evesham success and proud that the town's women smashed our fund-raising target."
In 2005 Evesham's race filled up in record time, five weeks in advance. Runners can enter online at www.raceforlife.org.uk.
