IT's hats off to a Kidderminster joinery and carpentry firm which has dipped into its charity coffers to help Operation Covert.
Howden's Joinery Limited, based in Worcester Road, has pledged £300 after reading about the appeal in the Shuttle/Times & News.
Terry Jones, manager of the Kidderminster branch, said the firm decided to back the appeal after seeing that Grace Plant was the project manager for the scheme.
He said: "We deal with Grace and her husband's company and when we saw in the newspaper that she was involved, we thought it was a good local project for us to support."
All Howden's branches are encouraged to help out local charities and Mr Jones added: "This year, we have also been able to make contributions to Blakebrook Special School and Dodford Children's Farm."
