Evesham II 68pts, Harborne 7
BIG tackles and slick handling was the order of the day as Evesham's second string put in a massive team performance to post a convincing win on Saturday.
Scrum- half Richard Moger went crashing over from short-range after just two minutes and the scorer was again on hand five minutes later to run in a superb try from halfway after a jinking run that mesmerised a handful of Harborne defenders.
Mo Parkinson slotted over the conversion from under the posts and more pressure was applied that led to further scores before the break courtesy of Parkinson, Biff Grove (2), Mark Williams (2) and Moger who completed his hat-trick with another super try.
The second half started with the Harborne centre sneaking through for a consolation score but matters were soon back to normal as Moger crossed twice more.
Grove then completed his hat-trick when he finished off a cracking move involving forwards and backs that saw the ball pass through ten pairs of hands.
Williams touched down for a second time after rounding his winger and John Smith completed the scoring with a similar run to round off a fabulous display.
