WORCESTER Schools host their Cambridge counterparts at Nunnery Wood tonight in the last 16 of the English Schools Football Association Under 15 Inter Trophy (7pm).
In the previous rounds, Worcester have beaten Walsall (1-0), Halesowen & Stourbridge (3-1) and a strong Coventry side.
Worcester first drew 3-3 at Coventry before prevailing 1-0 in the replay at Nunnery Wood.
Droitwich Spa High School student Nick Ingham scored the winner, while greater credit went to 'keepers Matt Oliver, also of Droitwich High, and Dan Stevens, of Elgar High School.
The squad is pooled from high schools reaching as far as Evesham, Malvern, Droitwich Spa and Pershore, along with Worcester's city high schools.
"This side never gives up," said coach Ivor Brand, a PE teacher at Bishop Perowne High School in Worcester. "That's the reason they beat Coventry.
"It will be harder still against Cambridge. The difference between each round is the pace of the game and it will be that bit quicker."
