BROMSGROVE WI and guests celebrated Christmas at our December meeting with the usual traditional tea provided by members.
Roma Punt, our president, then introduced the Primrose Hospice Choir to entertain us. Sue Kirby thanked them for making the afternoon a lovely start for Christmas. We are lucky to have one of our members, Eunice Wright, in the choir.
After the raffle was drawn Roma closed the meeting, everyone enjoying the last one for 2005.
For our January meeting members met to see a demonstration and hear about the tradition of Corn Dollies and Straw Craft. A wonderful display was given by Chris Cooke and partner, helping members to make a gift to take home.
The competition for the month was won by Margaret Wheeler.
Roma then wished everyone a happy New Year looking forward to our February meeting on Tuesday 14 at the Masonic Hall, Churchfields at 2.15pm.
