CELEBRATIONS took place at a Sidemoor nursery to mark its 25th anniversary.
Children at Perryfields Day Nursery, in Holly Road, tucked into a special birthday cake for the occasion.
The nursery first opened in January 1981 as a small ten place facility built onto founder Dawn Hunt's home in Perryfields Road.
It later moved to Holly Road in 1997 and increased to 20 places.
The nursery now has its second generation coming through with two children attending whose parents came before.
Dawn said: "Perryfields is still very much a small family-run nursery, my daughter Georgia now acts as joint manager.
"Our excellent staff team is certainly the major factor of our continued success."
