INFORMATION hungry youngsters at a town school invited residents to a coffee morning to share their knowledge.
Year three children at Stoke Prior First School asked people to go to the school and share memories of the area as part of the Worcestershire parish mapping project.
The project is funded through the Arts Council UK and Worcestershire County Council.
It aims to explore with the children and their communities the wildlife and biodiversity of their parish.
It also focuses on the stories and experiences of local people, which reflect their sense of place.
The Vision Mapping Project will culminate in a parish map created by children at the school, together with a textile artist.
Teacher Lesley Shipman said: "The children thoroughly enjoyed meeting the visitors and learning more about their village."
