DROITWICH Spa's new partnership manager took up his role in the town this week.
Joe Ling is now responsible for co-ordinating all the activities in and around the town, including supporting the Droitwich Spa Area Local Strategic Partnership (LSP). The LSP pulls together all the different groups from the public and private sectors to deliver real improvements for the town and surrounding areas. Joe, who worked for Birmingham City Council housing department before taking the new role, said: "My first challenge is to implement the High Street shop-front regeneration scheme to improve the environment for shoppers and traders, attract future investment and enhance the unique character of the area." Pam Davey, chairman of Wychavon District Council, said: "This appointment demonstrates Wychavon's commitment to the future prosperity of Droitwich Spa."
