A MAN was robbed of his car keys by four 'hoodied' men who burst into his Droitwich Spa home and then drove off in his £22,000 Renault Megane.

The incident occurred at around 5.15pm on Thursday after the victim answered the door at his Dugard Way home. The men, who all wore 'hoodie' tops, demanded the car key to his grey Renault Megane Sport 225 and threatened him until he handed it over. He was not injured in the incident.

The car - registration VO54 GKN - was later followed by Warwickshire Police patrol officers for a short time near Henley-in-Arden, but they lost sight of it.

A police spokesman said: "These offenders may well have used one or more vehicles to get to Droitwich. We would therefore like to hear from members of the community who saw anyone behaving suspiciously in the Dugard Way area - or saw an unfamiliar vehicle nearby at around 5.15pm on January 12."
