TACKLING underage drinking and antisocial behaviour was top of the agenda at a meeting in Winyates.
Residents raised their concerns about a range of issues at the neighbourhood's first Partners and Communities Together (PACT) meeting on Wednesday.
The meeting included representatives from Redditch Council and the police, and follows on from the success of PACT meetings in Church Hill and Smallwood.
Residents also raised concerns about defective street lighting.
But Winyates beat manager Pc Paul Kennedy said the meeting had a smaller attendance than he had hoped.
"Nevertheless we were still able to discuss those issues affecting the lives of people living locally and decided on the three PACT priorities for the month ahead.
"The plan for the coming month focuses on under age drinking in the Winyates centre and on groups of youths gathering there and causing disorder.
"By the next meeting, we hope to establish the extent of the problem and report back on the effectiveness of the measures already in place," he added.
The next PACT meeting for Winyates will be at 7pm on Wednesday, February 8 at the Winyates Barn, just off Winyates centre.
