WHAT a great start for 2006 - the meeting on January 4 when Stuart Derry gave a demonstration of the marvellous new Yamaha Tyros 2. Nine new members and 12 guests contributed to a superb attendance to kick off the year in style.
The next meeting will be on Wednesday, February 1 at Cookhill Village Hall when the event returns to its normal format with the concert at the end of the evening to be given by club member Adrian Wylde.
The meeting starts at 7.30pm with entry for members at £2, inclusive of refreshment.
Tickets are now on sale for the next highlight of the year, the annual Patron's Concert, to be given by the club's patron, the wonderful Penny Weedon, on Friday, March 17.
The full house that attended the event last year will know what a treat is in store.
Tickets are already in great demand so make sure you don't miss out. For tickets and more details, call John and Lyn Hearn on 893263.
