BROMSGROVE Indoor Bowls Club kept their place at the top of their group in the National Top Ten League by defeating Solihull 87-72 on Sunday.
The team had to overcome a side packed with England internationals to maintain their good form.
Andy Walters, aged 18, clashed with England youth trialist Alan Lewis and lost 21-14.
Paul Kitchen and Tony Hall defeated Solihull's pairing 23-22.
In the triples Neil Smith, John Cracknell and Neil Brereton came from 11-7 to beat Solihull's team 17-14.
Brian Harper, Richie Hall, Peter Davis and captain Adie Burbridge produced a strong performance in the foursomes to beat a Solihull quarter led by Ron Dowler 31-15.
