THIS month Redditch residents are being asked to make a resolution to cut back on the waste they throw away and recycle even more than they did in 2005.
Getting into the recycling swing will also give residents the chance to win £100.
Every month, Redditch Council is offering three prizes of £100 to residents in the Riverside, Abbeydale and town centre areas who take part in a new trial promotion scheme.
All residents have to do is place the postcard they get through the post out with their recycling.
Three monthly winners will then be drawn at random.
B Whitehorn of Meadowhill Crescent, Mrs Harrison from Meadowhill Road, and Ms Elwell-Reynolds of Terry Close have already each won the £100 for setting a good example in their area by recycling on a regular basis.
The trio are the first in the town to scoop the cash prizes for their efforts.
