TO celebrate the 3,000th member joining its weekly lottery, the Primrose Hospice, which supports people throughout Redditch and Bromsgrove, is holding a bumper draw, with a whopping £3,000 up for grabs.
The top prize is £2,000, second prize £500, third prize £250 and there are 50 prizes of £5.
The Primrose Lottery has been running for several years and proceeds contribute to the care of patients with cancer and other life- threatening illnesses. Support is also extended to patients' families and carers.
The bumper draw is open to existing lottery members only so people need to have joined the lottery by March 6 to take part. It costs £1 per week which can be paid by standing order or cheque. Usually there are cash prizes of £1,500 but this amount has been doubled for the bumper draw. For an application form, call 0870 330 0948 or download a form from www.primrosehospice.org
All registered lottery members will automatically be entered into the draw. Books of extra tickets will be mailed to lottery members, in case they wish to purchase extra tickets and increase their chances of winning.
The draw will take place on March 27 and winners will be sent their cheques later that week. A list of winning numbers will be available from Primrose shops in Redditch and Bromsgrove.
Primrose Lottery manager Martin Howell said: "We're delighted to have recruited our 3,000th member to our lottery and the bumper draw is a way of rewarding the loyalty of our members by offering higher value prizes for one week only."
