WORCESTER Warriors will be without their two regular full-backs for Friday's make-or-break European Challenge Cup match at Montpellier.
Thinus Delport joined Nicolas Le Roux on the injury list after he was carried off in Saturday's 44-8 triumph over Amatori Catania at Sixways.
The South African suffered medial cruciate ligament damage, which rules him out of the trip to France.
Director of rugby John Brain said: "Delport has strained his MCL. We need the swelling to go down and we will get that assessed.
"It looks at this stage as though that injury will keep him out for weeks but we don't know how many. It could be two, it could be more than two.
"It's an MCL strain and they can be anywhere between grade one and three. We'll just have to wait and see.
"He's not done his ACL (anterior crucaite ligament) which is the most serious knee injury."
Le Roux, the first-choice 15 at Sixways, has also had knee trouble and is unlikely to be available before the Premiership match at Bristol on Friday week.
"Le Roux is coming on OK," said Brain. "The target for him is to be fit for the Bristol game.
"He will get assessed by the specialist on Wednesday, just to give him the all-clear and then we will do some intensive rehab with him to get him ready for Bristol. We won't take him to Montpellier I wouldn't have thought."
James Brown filled in at full-back for an hour against Catania and Jonny Hylton is another contender but Warriors are more likely to turn to Shane Drahm in France.
"Brown has played there a bit before," said Brain. "Shane has probably played the most there. He played (at full-back) quite a bit for Bristol.
"Because that injury occurred early in the game, we didn't want to move Shane back there. We knew Browny would do well and he did."
As well as losing Delport, Worcester had to make do without Uche Oduoza for the full 80 minutes.
"Uche has been out for a couple of weeks with a quad strain," said Brain. "He was fitness-tested on Friday and did the team run and, during the warm-up to the game, he just felt that quad."
Connacht kept the heat on Worcester with a 43-10 win over Montpellier, which means they are just a point behind going into the final group games.
