MY wife and I spent a very happy Christmas holiday in Malvern with our daughter and her family.
On the evening of December 23, the Friday before Christmas, the Lions' sleigh came down her road playing cheerful Christmas songs and handing out sweeties from Father Christmas to the children.
The Lions stayed until every child had seen Father Christmas, waiting while mums carried the little ones up the road and even giving a piggy back ride to one child who was too excited to remember her shoes!
The Lions and their sleigh are a credit to your town and certainly made a wonderful start to the Christmas holiday for our family.
Please, Lions, do not be put off by the unkind comments which I understand were made by another correspondent, we look forward to seeing the sleigh again next year.
