THE EGGS Golf and Gambling Society held their annual year ending event at the Bank House Golf Club.
The Bank House Boys' Challenge was well-attended and keenly contested and even the worst of the British winter weather could not spoil some superb golf.
Finishing the year in style was EGGS captain Stacey Cole, who scored 41 points to take his first event win. Another golfer to finish in the new year honours was Steve Gill, whose 38 points was enough to clinch second place. Third place was decided on countback with Ian Belshaw just edging out Jem Finch, both scoring 37 points.
The team competition was won by Stacey Cole, Jason Lloyd, Paul Sharrat and Mark Jenkins, all of whom combined to produce a great average score. Andrew Downie scored well and won the best guest prize.
The longest drive and the nearest the pin prize were both picked up by golfing natural Mark Haffield.
Many thanks to Blue Ginger and the Bank House members and staff.
The EGGS next event is the Okehampton Tour in February.
