DES Lyttle insists Worcester City have 'nothing to fear' as they prepare for tomorrow's FA Trophy second round clash at Crawley Town.
The Red Devils are favourites to secure a place in the last 16 of the competition at Broadfield Stadium.
But like City, the Conference side are scrapping at the wrong end of the league table, sitting just two points off the relegation zone.
Veteran centre-back Lyttle, who faced Crawley last season in Forest Green Rovers colours, believes City have a chance of upsetting the odds again.
Andy Preece's City side were giant-killers in the FA Cup when dumping out Conference leaders Accrington Stanley and former Nottingham Forest ace Lyttle believes his side have the mentality for another surprise.
"There is a big difference between Conference North and the Conference," said Lyttle. "There are lots of strong teams in the Conference.
"But we've shown against the bigger sides, Accrington and Huddersfield, that we can perform really well," said Lyttle. "We went to top-of-the-table Accrington and we got a draw. We'll have nothing to fear going to Crawley.
"It's another big game for us, they are all big at the moment because of our league position. But this is a good competition and Crawley are a decent side.
"I played them last season and it's a nice little ground with a decent pitch. I think John Hollins has got them playing a little bit, although they've been struggling.
"It will be difficult, but I we can relax, enjoy it and you never know. It would be nice to keep going in the FA Trophy."
