A couple who fell in love with crafts after visiting a skills show in the city now want to start their own series of amateur craft shows.
Alan and Zoe Coldicott, from Red Hill, Worcester, are appealing for local people who do crafts as a hobby to contact them.
"We are researching the prospect of organising amateur craft shows in 2006 within a 25-mile radius of Worcester. We are looking for different venues," said Alan.
The couple got hooked on crafts after visiting the Skills On Show exhibition at County Hall about six years ago.
Zoe, who works at Newtown Hospital, had a go at several of the hobbies on show and eventually settled on her favourite - 3D decoupage. She now decorates cards and plates in that style.
Alan, a maintenance worker at a care home, makes all her stands for shows they attend during the year.
"We want people who do all sorts of crafts including woodwork, jewellery, embroidery, painting and other handicrafts," said Zoe.
Anyone interested can ring her on 07795330313 or write to them at 41 Devon Road, Red Hill, Worcester, WR5 1QQ.
