A PLANT operator caught doing 66mph in a 40mph zone was also found not wearing a seat belt when stopped by police, magistrates heard.
Richard Calder, of Eddy Road, Kidderminster, appeared before Worcester Magistrates Court, where he admitted exceeding the speed limit and failing to wear a seatbelt.
Prosecuting, Douglas Marshall, said officers using a hand-held laser device recorded Calder breaking the speed limit on the A442 Kidderminster to Droitwich road at Hampton Lovett.
The court heard how 31-year-old Calder also had three points on his licence for a traffic sign offence in January, 2004.
Representing himself, Calder, who previously denied both offences, said he had nothing to say to the magistrates.
He was fined £150, ordered to pay £35 costs and had his licence endorsed with four penalty points.
