CHADDESLEY Corbett bowed out of the West Midlands League Division Two Cup in round one with a 2-1 defeat to Wyrley.
Played in a snowstorm at Bilbrook, Chaddesley started off sluggishly and their hosts took the lead after 10 minutes.
Liam Binned netted the equaliser and Chaddesley had several opportunities to take the lead, before Wyrley went ahead again after a slip from Chris Griffin.
Corbett dominated the second half, especially in the final 20 minutes after Omar Salih was introduced down the left.
Matt Baynton returned after suspension, and Lee Rudge made his full debut.
Captain Neil Lucas said: "During spells in the match we lacked a little urgency, but at time we just lacked lady luck.
"We could play like that again and win and the players cannot be faulted for a very good second half showing."
Chaddesley are back in league action at home to Dudley United at 1.45pm at Longmore.
