THE sounds of stomping boogie-woogie plus blues and jazz will fill a venue near Stourport later this month.
The Daniel Smith Blues Band will be performing at Areley Kings Village Hall on Saturday, January 21 at 8pm.
Daniel Smith was recently nominated British Blues Keyboard Player of the Year and has been described as a "brilliant, original, dynamically talented pianist" and "the new Jools Holland."
He will be joined for a two-set concert by three other musicians to perform a range of authentic blues, boogie-woogie and jazz.
There will be opportunities for the audience to dance and the show will include background to some of the tunes.
The event has been organised as part of the Shindig programme of live professional arts and entertainment for community venues throughout Worcestershire.
The Daniel Smith Blues Band will also be appearing at Clows Top Victory Hall on February 4 at 8pm.
