SARAH Bastida from Bewdley enjoyed a two-day trip to London to mark her 20 years' service with catering and support services provider Sodexho.
Sarah and 50 others from across Britain were taken for afternoon tea at Anton Edelmann's restaurant Allium, a trip on the London Eye and then a luxury dinner cruise on the Thames.
In a special presentation ceremony held on the luxury cruiser Symphony II, Sodexho chief executive, Philip Jansen thanked Sarah for her continuous hard work and dedication with the presentation of the company's 20 Years of Service badge.
"Sodexho's success is built upon the loyalty and dedication of people like Sarah and this annual event is a great opportunity to show our appreciation and thank them in person for their continuous support," said Mr Jansen.
The second day of the trip saw the long service award recipients also attend Sodexho's annual Star Awards ceremony at the Royal Lancaster Hotel in London.
At the ceremony they received a gift of their choice, from an exclusive selection in recognition of dedication and hard work. The Sodexho Star Awards recognise achievement of its employees in a wide range of categories.
In the UK and Ireland, Sodexho employs 48,000 employees, and provides catering and a range of support services to clients at over 2,300 locations in the business and industry, education, healthcare, leisure and defence sectors.
