YOU may not realise it but most people know at least one of guitarist Gordon Giltrap's works.
The name might not be instantly recognisable, but Giltrap's most famous piece, Heartsong, burrowed its way into the public psyche as the theme tune to BBC One's The Holiday Programme.
Now fans can sample more of the guitarist's work live when he brings his tour to the Artrix on Friday, January 13 (8pm start).
Influenced by such guitar-wielding giants as Hank Marvin, The Beatles, Pete Townshend and John Williams Giltrap has spent 40-years carving out his own niche in the music world.
Giltrap was born in Kent in 1948 and brought up in Deptford. He caught the passion for music at the age of 12 when he picked up his first guitar.
He has rubbed shoulders with rock stars such as Queen lead guitarist Brian May, Yes keyboardist Rick Wakeman and Band Aid organiser Midge Ure.
Giltrap has also collaborations with jazz musician Martin Taylor, classical guitarist Raymond Burley and Ric Sanders from band Fairport convention.
He also worked closely with Cliff Richard on his Heathcliff production, for which he arranged an overture and wrote two pieces of music.
In his career Giltrap has released 22 albums and appeared on countless collaborations.
Tickets cost £10 and can be bought by calling the Artrix's box-office on 01527 57330.
