GREASE is the word - or it will be next week in Birmingham.
Holding the title of Channel 4's Number One Greatest Musical for two consecutive years, the toe-tapping, sing-a-long favourite arrives at the Alexandra Theatre on Tuesday.
Back by popular demand, the show features Birmingham's own Hayley Evetts of Pop Idol fame as Sandy, and Paul Manuel as Danny.
Since its birth in Broadway in 1972, Grease has secured a place in the hall of fame and is guaranteed to impress audiences.
Written by Jim Jacobs and Warren Casey, directed by David Gilmore and choreographed by Strictly Come Dancing's Arlene Phillips, the show will feature all the firm favourites including You're The One That I Want, Sandy and Hopelessly Devoted.
Grease will run until Saturday, January 28 with performances at 7.30pm Monday to Thursday, 5.30pm and 8.30pm on Fridays, and 5pm and 8.30pm on Saturdays.
Tickets priced £9.50-31.50 are available on 0870 607 7533.
