RESIDENTS can look forward to a night with a difference at St Luke's Church in Headless Cross this Friday.
Shindig, the county's renowned rural and community touring scheme presents New Kremlinaires at the Evesham Road church from 7pm.
Inspired by a 2002 article in the Guardian on secret Soviet papers which suggested Stalin felt most threatened by American swing jazz, fiddle player Chris Haigh created the Kremlinaires.
The group presents an evening of instrumental and vocal music with a swing feel and Russian influence, as well as humour and theatre.
Audiences will be entertained with witty, clever and technically brilliant arrangements such as Crme de la Krem, A Tsar is Born, and Stomping With Stalin.
